A Decade of Storytelling:
From the Neon of HK to the Queensland Sun

My journey behind the lens began ten years ago amidst the high-contrast energy and architectural density of Hong Kong. It was there that I fell in love with the art of the portrait—capturing the milestone moments of graduations and the intimate, nervous excitement of pre-wedding sessions. Over a decade of experience has taught me that a great photo isn't just about the subject; it’s about the atmosphere you build around them.

The Cinematic Influence: A Love Letter to Japan

If you look closely at my work, you’ll see the fingerprints of Japanese Dramas. I am endlessly inspired by the "Quiet Narrative" found in Japanese cinematography—the soft, nostalgic color palettes, the intentional use of negative space, and the way a single frame can evoke a sense of wabi-sabi (beauty in imperfection). Tokyo remains my ultimate muse; I return there frequently to explore the intersection of neon-lit nights and traditional morning light, bringing those cinematic production values back to every session I shoot.

The New Chapter:
Defining the "Queensland Glow"

In 2022, I brought my craft to Brisbane, Australia, embarking on a mission to merge my structured, drama-inspired style with the raw, sprawling beauty of the Australian landscape.

Currently, I am exploring a new creative frontier: defining a unique color grade for Queensland. My goal is to take the warmth of the Brisbane sun and the coastal textures of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and filter them through a cinematic, Japanese-inspired lens. Whether we are shooting in a bustling Tokyo alleyway or the golden hinterlands of Australia, I am here to design a production that makes your life feel like a scene from a masterpiece.
